Busy free day

silver_chipmunkI meant to get up at 9:30 but didn't. I did get up a bit after 10 though I think. Called Oldest Brother but he didn't answer.
Got up and had breakfast and coffee. Then I showered and dressed.
Trying to remember the exact order of things I did and I can't, I called Oldest Brother's nursing home and theoretically arranged to have him ready to go out on Thanksgiving. I also told the social worker bout his stuff being boxed when he was in the hospital, and still boxed now, and she said she'd have it taken care of. Hope she does.
I tried to arrange for a wheelchair taxi but was told that I couldn't until the day before, so I'll wait till Wednesday and do it then.
After much fiddling and calling around I managed to get my $10 gift card that I paid for with reward points from Carecredit downloaded and loaded on my Nook. Yay!
I took my laundry down to the laundromat and dropped it off.
I finished taking down the Halloween decorations and put up a few Thanksgiving ones. I will probably put up a few more before Middle Brother gets here.
I read Starsky and Hutch zines.
I called oldest Brother again and this time he answered.
I called the Kid and then left a message for her to call me. She did later and we had a nice talk.
By the time we finished it was time for me to go to my meeting, a little early because I wanted to go to the bank first. I got the bus and went to the bank.
Ate at the Crosstown Diner for no particular reason except I didn't feel like Boston Market. I had a grilled Swiss cheese on rye with ham. While I was having dinner,mashfanficchick texted with some comments on my story, so we chatted. I also called Oldest Brother who didn't answer again.
Then went to my meeting, which was very good. New people.
Then came home, called Oldest Brother who did answer, and then I Skyoed the FWiB,
And then I fed the pets, and started writing in here.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The Kid.
3. Clean laundry tomorrow.
4. My meetings and the people in them.
5. No problem so far with the nursing home.
6. Bed soon.
