Gyn checkup

silver_chipmunkGot up and had breakfast, showered and dressed, then did a very little housework. Then I waited for mashfanficchick's mother to pick me up for my appointment.
We ate at Taco Bell first, my treat. Then we went to the doctor's office building, getting there quite a bit early. I waited in the car til it was reasonable to go in.
Then I waited in the waiting room for a long while. But finally I got seen and examined. All looks well, she did a pap smear, which it looks like I don't really need since I had one last year and the new guidelines are every three years, but my insurance pays for it so why not?
Then went back out to the car.mashfanficchick had called, ze was ready to be picked up so we went and did that. I got invited to dinner, which I was happy to accept, (although I had planned on doing a Shipt order and mopping the living room floor.).
We went to Starbucks and I got a half price drink. then we went back to zer place and ate, then hung out for a few hours.
They brought me home, stopping on the way to get milk.
When I got here, my second Christmas card of the year had arrived. So that was nice. The FWiB had alreadyt gone to bed so we couldn't Skype, alas.
I didn't speak to Oldest Brother today, I didn't call in the morning because I knew he was having the Foley catheter out in the morning. Then I called in the evening and he didn't answer. I did call Middle Brother though, he is fine.
Now time for bed.
