No D&D today

I slept until 12 , then got up and had breakfast. I waited until after 1 to call the hospital to find out about Oldest Brother's condition. It took me awhile to get answers but when I did they were mostly good. He's still Covid positive though. And they had to reschedule the procedure he had scheduled yesterday. But he's stable and the drainage from hi gallbladder is less like pus and more like bile, as it should be.

So after that I called the Kid, who didn't answer, and texted mashfanficchick and asked zer to call me. Then I went to the bedroom and continued reading Paladin's Faith. Ze called and I told zer about Oldest Brother, and we made plans for tonight.

Then I finished Paladin's Faith, and at 4-ish I decided to shower and dress. Ze called me just as I was finishing and said ze was done with work and heading over to pick me up so I got dressed and waited.

First we went to the drugstore because I needed to pick up some prescriptions. Then we went to the grocery store and got food for dinner to eat in the car. I got sushi, which was pretty good, as supermarket sushi usually is. The Kid called, and I told her about Oldest Brother, and we talked a bit.

Then my shoe, which had been breaking for a day or so, fell apart. We went to Target to get some good glue to try and mend it, it's drying now.

Then we went to Carvel and got ice cream.

They brought me home, and I glued my shoe, and Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time, and then I went to the bedroom to read again. I started Valdemar, the new Mercedes Lackey, which is what I bought yesterday with part of the gift card the Kid got me.

And then the Nook started running low on power, and it was pet feeding time, so I have the Nook charging and fed the pets.
