Saw Oldest Brother today

silver_chipmunkI slept late and had breakfast and coffee, then showered and dressed and went over to the nursing home.
Oldest Brother was in bed watching TV, but he looked good and seemed aware and alert. We had a nice visit of about an hour and 15 minutes, give or take. I brought him his Christmas presents and he opened them (with a little help) and enjoyed seeing them. Mostly books, I hope that he is actually capable of reading them.
Anyway, I came back and took out the kitty litter from cleaning the cat pan Friday. Then I puttered around basically.
The Kid called and I talked to her for awhile, then I puttered around some more.
I finally got around to posting my story from the Starsky and Hutch Advent Calendar on both Fanfiction.net, here: Sunrise, Sunset, and AO3, here: Sunrise, Sunset.
At a little after 7 I Skyped the FWiB, and we talked for a nice long time, taking a break at 8:30 for me to call Middle Brother. He is fine, went on a walk today in a park which he enjoyed.
After the FWiB and I were done I had dinner, and then calledmashfanficchick to talk about tomorrow and make plans.
After that I played solitaire on my phone till pet feeding time.
And that was the day.
