silver_chipmunkGot up this morning, the Kid had texted the place we were going to have brunch to me, so I looked them up and got directions.
Had coffee, showered, and washed my hair. Dressed, and took the book that I got for her for Christmas. Then got the Q44 bus to the 7 train, took that to the E, and then the M102 to the place. I was a little late, but got there before the Kid or her boyfriend did. I got our table, and she got there pretty fast, followed shortly by her boyfriend.
We had a delightful time, though I had about one mimosa to many. I had oysters and grits with shrimp.
Took the train tomashfanficchick's place, and we did some errands before Elissa got there. By then I was feeling much better.
We went out to Long Island to the Olive Garden, and I had the chicken marsala. It was OK, pretty good in fact, but not great. We had a good time though we had to wait a long time to be seated. I called Middle Brother while I was there, he is fine.
Then we went to Friendly's for dessert. I had a mint chocolate chip Oreo sundae. It was delicious.
Elissa drove me home, and I Skyped the FWiB for a brief while. Now it's time for bed.
