St Patrick's Day

silver_chipmunkI didn't really do anything to celebrate it. I slept until very late, after 12, in fact. then got up and had my breakfast and coffee. I had a big piece of Irish soda bread with my coffee as my nod to the day.
Then I puttered online for a bit, and eventually went to the bedroom and read. I finished the Mercedes Lackey book, The Bartered Brides. As good as any of them but the ending felt rushed.
After I finished reading it I did some needed paper work, printing out some things.
Then I made myself something to eat for late lunch. After that I threw on some clothes and took out a bunch of recycling. I made two trips, and walked around the block each time for exercise.
When I got back in it was just about time to Skype the FWiB. We talked for an hour and almost a half, taking a break at 8:30 as always on Sunday and Thursday, to call Middle Brother. He had a picnic yesterday at Sunken Meadow, and went on a walk today, so he's having a good time. Hasn't gotten his new CD player yet through.
I also texted with the Kid for a bit.
After I finished talking with the FWiB, I made dinner, and then went to the bedroom and played solitaire.
Then it was time to feed the pets, and here I am.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Two day weekend.
3. Recycling out.
4. Fun books.
5. Middle Brother well.
6. Paperwork done.
