Another pretty quiet day

I was about 10 minutes late today but it wasn't entirely my fault. I sent in a request for a transit delay verification, we'll see if I get it.

I weeded two shelves of graphic novels and manga. I sent off a message to Oldest Brother's original nursing home about getting reimbursed for the "lost" items. And I did the Teen Lounge. Got six which is better than nothing. And gave out lots and lots of eclipse glasses.

Came home in the rain and voted in the Democratic primary. Not really much point since Biden already has the nomination, but it's the principle of the thing. I almost forgot but mashfanficchick reminded me this morning.

Came home and Skyped the FWiB until it was time for my Al-anon meeting. The meeting was good.

After that I had dinner, then went and played solitaire and scrolled Facebook in the bedroom.

Fed the pets, and now going to finish here and then get ready for bed.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean about voting. I once voted in a by-election while I was a student that had possibly the lowest turnout in history, something like 10%, partly because everyone knew the Labour candidate (who I voted for) would win about 75% of the vote. As you say, it was the principle of the thing.

Yeah, I've missed a few votes in my time, but not many, and I do think of it as a duty to do.
