Saw Oldest Brother

silver_chipmunkWoke up this morning at 11, dwadled in bed for an hour, finally got up. Called mashfanficchick about them taking me to see Oldest Brother.
Ze and zer mother wanted to watch the Mets game first so I took a shower and washed my hair with the help of the shower chair. Then I got dressed and went to the Starsky and Hutch creative work session, which is always fun, and i got a little writing done. The game went into overtime, we finally won 2 - 4. So that was nice.
They finally picked me up around 7 and we went to the nursing home. Oldest Brother is much better than he was the last time I saw him, getting off the Olanzapine made a huge difference.
I read him John's letter and I talked to him, he was alert and aware and responsive although he doesn't really even try to talk, he mostly uses expressions and gestures.
I stayed til 8, and then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner. Delicious. I called Middle Brother before that, he was very happy, they took him to the Cold Spring Harbor Fish Hatchery, where he has wanted to go for ages, always talking about it. I am so happy for him!
Then we went to Target and to Stop and Shop and in each store I used one of the electric riding carts. That's pretty fun!
They brought me home andmashfanficchhick put water in the turtle tank for me.
Sadly, no time to Skype the FWiB today.
