It is over

silver_chipmunkI'm using mashfanficchick's laptop to update, staying over at zer place again.
This morning I got a call from my doctor's place that I needed a referal for the podiatrist, and they couldn't give me one because I hadn't been seen by them. So I had to cancel my podiatrist appointment for tomorrow and schedule a visit to my pcp on Monday. So that sucks.
I also got a call from Middle Brother's group home, he needs a colonoscopy which I will have to sign the consent form for. He will not be happy about the prep. But he is 65 now and needs one.
Anyway, then they took me in to the Bronx and to the library, where ze helped me clean out my desk and locker. It took a few hours and was labor intensive and I thank zer much. I turned in my keys and ID. So it is over, and I am retired. I got a card with $60 in it, which I appreciate. I feel very subdued and not at all sure what to feel or think.
Then we went to Shake Shack for a meal. It was very tasty.
And then they took me to my meeting, and that was good.
After that, back to Queens wheremashfanficchick helped me bring a good chunk of my stuff into the apartment, and I packed for tomorrow, and fed the pets.
I Skyped th fWiB from my phone whilemashfanficchick did some quick shopping.
Came back to zer apartment, ze got a phone call from Dani which ze put on speaker and we visited for awhile.
Now we are waiting for zer mother to find a parking spot and then have dessert.
Tomorrow, road trip to Beacon NY for the Grand Reopening in a new location of Five Pennies Creamery for ice cream!
