silver_chipmunkGot myself up at 9 this morning, had breakfast and coffee, showered, dressed, called an Uber and made it to Bowne Park for the Al-anon meeting by 10:55. Yay! I was the first one there instead of being late.
The meeting was very good, and afterward I got a ride to the diner. I had a bagel with lox and cream cheese, and iced coffee. After we finished I Ubered home, sadly no one could give me a ride so that was a bit expensive, but I'm glad I did it rather than taking the bus.
Got home and went to the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. I managed about a third of the episode Nightmare, which is a very powerful episode about the rape of a developmentally disabled girl. After the episode we chatted for several hours, until 7:30ish.
After that I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time til a little after 9 when we got off. I went and ate a little, then lay down in the bedroom and played solitaire. I called the Kid but she didn't pick up. I left her a text to call me, we'll see if she does.
And then it was pet feeding time. I am almost out of cat food, I will either have to get some tomorrow if I go out withmashfanficchick and zer mother, or put in a Shipt order if I don't.
All in all a very enjoyable day.
