News from the podiatrist

silver_chipmunkI was late getting there, but it didn't matter. The news is that I have gotten rid of the ace bandage, though I'm still using the cane, and I go back again in a month.
mashfanficchick and zer mother took me as usual, and afterward we went to grab some quick food, I just got an eggroll. Then we went to Starbucks and hung out.
We stayed there for a few hours, and I got a drink and a ham and Swiss croissant. Then we went to Shop Rite, but ended up not getting anything.
They brought me home and we spent awhile talking about mayoral candidates in the car.
Then I came in and Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice conversation, and then I fed the pets.
That was all the day, but it was a good one.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Able to stop wearing the ace bandage.
3. Got the other two of Bujold's Sharing Knife series from Thriftbooks today.
4. Air conditioning.
5. There's an anti-project 2025 rally on July 27th in Times Square at 7pm I'm going to go to.
6. Finished Kaleidoscope last night and it was good.
