Saw Oldest Brother today

silver_chipmunkGot up late, and had breakfast and coffee. Called mashfanficchick to see what was up. Zer mother still feels bad, so no Carvel trip today.
So I showered and dressed, and then braved the outside heat to get an Uber and headed over to see Oldest Brother. I was happy with his condition, he continues to be aware and alert, and was actually talking a little better. I stayed for a bit over an hour, and read the letter John sent by email the other day. BTW some good news, John sold two paintings in two galleries.
I took an Uber back, and lay down in the bedroom with the AC on scrolling Facebook on my phone, until it was time to Skype the FWiB. I also called the Kid. We talked for awhile.
The FWiB and I talked until 8, and then it was time for my D&D game.
Sadly though, D&D was cancelled. There were only five of us that showed up and that wasn't enough.
So I signed out and watched a Youtube vid from DC Slash about the tech for the DCSlashcon this weekend. I textedmashfanficchick about DCSLashcon, but ze didn't answer yet. I hope ze registers and attends, it's much more fun with someone you know.
I watched the vid and then puttered online til pet feeding time, and then had dinner and fed the pets.
It's thunder storming now, rather spectacularly. Maybe it will help to lay the heat, or at least the humidity.
