Saw Oldest Brother again
That was the main thing of the day. I got up a bit earlier than I've been, before 11. Had breakfast, and coffee. I called mashfanficchick to see if there was anything doing, but there wasn't, so after I did my normal internet reading I lay down and read more of Have His Carcass. I really remember quite little of it, so it's rather delightful rereading it, almost like a new book, though I do remember one vital clue.
Anyway, at 3 I quit reading and took a shower nd dressed. Then I took the bus over to the hospital to see Oldest Brother. He was a little lower than yesterday but not much. Pretty much the same, actually. He did consent to have his blood taken this morning so they got blood tests, which were good. I also finally got to talk to a doctor about the CT scan, which apparently didn't really show anything of interest. So the cause of the vomiting is still a mystery afaik.
Somehow his feeding tube got clogged, so they said they had to replace it, and while I was there, about 45 minutes, they came to take him to do that. So I left at that point.
Came home by bus, had something to eat, put in a Shipt order, and at 7 Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time. The Kid called while I was talking to him, so she and I had a short conversation. She is doing fine.
After we finished I waited for the Shipt to be delivered, put it away, and then went and lay down and read more of Have His Carcass.
Then at pet feeding time, I came out and after feeding the pets had dinner. And then I started here.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Good books.
3. The CT scans were good.
4. The kid is well.
5. Mass transit.
6. Fudgesicles.
