silver_chipmunkI slept late again, and finally got up for breakfast and coffee. I called mashfanficchick to see how things were going with them. Pretty OK.
I puttered around online, and made the appointments for my blood tests for my pcp, and the x-rays for the podiatrist.
Then I went and finished reading Linnets and Valerians. Which is as sweet as I remember it. After I finished I got two bags of recycling together and took them out. The kitchen is looking much better.
The Kid texted me and I texted her back. All well there.
Then at 7 it was time to Skype the FWiB. We had a nice time.
After that I had dinner, and started reading the next Peter Wimsey, which arrived from Thriftbooks today, Murder Must Advertise. I remember very little about it, so that's good.
Then it was pet feeding time. I gave Oreo a regular sized meal for dinner, and we'll see how his stomach handles it. This morning I gave him his treats like I normally do when I make coffee, and he didn't throw up or have diarrhea. So I am encouraged that he's OK. But we'll see how he handles regular food.
I was worried about John and Denise in Florida with the hurricane, so I texted John. He says they're OK, so that's good.
The $20 gift card I got for participating in a survey arrived. Now I need to decide where to spend it.

Date: 2024-08-07 02:27 am (UTC)Yes, that storm down south sounds horrible! Today we got some of the effects of it up here in Ohio, it was a rough storm. But nothing compared to what they had to deal with.

Date: 2024-08-07 02:51 am (UTC)Yeah it was pretty bad I gather in Florida. John and his wife Denise are my cousins, and whenever there's a hurricane there i worry about them. But where they are, they were out of the worst of it.
