silver_chipmunkAnd a little more cleaning during the day. I got up as usual, late, and had breakfast and coffee. I called mashfanficchick to see how things were going on their trip to get Winnie in Maine. They were doing fine.
I finished Murder Must Advertise last night, so I was ready to start the next one, which is The Nine Tailors.
So after I puttered online a bit I went and started reading that. I texted the Kid, and she texted back that she was working at the coffee shop today.
At 3:30 I threw on some clothes and took out another load of boxes. It was raining slightly, but not badly, and I took out a bag of garbage too, but nothing more than that because of the rain. Then I unpacked the box of fragile items that I brought home from work and put them away.
I figure if I can do at least that much a day on a regular basis, I can eventually get this place in good enough shape to have people over. So far so good.
Anyway, after that I went back to reading until I Skyped the FWiB at a bit past 7. WE had a nice talk and then at 8 there was D&D.
Three people couldn't make it but the rest of us decided that we didn't want to miss another session so we went ahead with our battle with the glitter hounds, which are a monster that the GM made up, basing them on dire wolves. We did end a bit early though. I had dinner and fed the pets.
Oreo seems totally fine now, so that's all right.
