Take me out to the ball game...

silver_chipmunkStarted today at 9:30 when I should have gotten up at 9, but I got ready in time anyway. Had breakfast and coffee, showered and dressed in my new Mets shirt, and then Ubered to my X-ray.
I got there right on time, but had to wait longer than usual. But when they finally took me. the X-rays went quickly.
After they were done, I walked up Main Street to Duane Reade and picked up my prescriptions.
Then I took the 7 train from there to the Mets/Willits Point stop and went to Citifield for the game. I got there quite early, and went right to my seat, and watched the screen til Dani and Winnie came. texted that the funeral was over and ze was on zer way. Ze got there after the first inning.
The game was exciting, and lots of interesting things happened, that Winnie, who had never been to a ball game before, enjoyed. But eventually the Mets lost, as is their custom. Still, only by one point so at least it was close.
After it was over we walked to wheremashfanficchick's mother was picking us up, and waited til she got there. Then we went to Astoria, to Bareburger, and joined the Kid and her boyfriend and had dinner.
It was delicious and very nice and fun. It was lovely seeing the kid.
After dinner they drove me home and I called Middle Brother on the way. He is fine. I got home and Skyped the FWiB. We talked for a little over an hour and then it was pet feeding time.
And then I read my internet stuff and got started here.
