Writing

Got up later than I planned, and had breakfast and coffee.

At 1:30 I went to the Starsky and Hutch Creative Writing Session on Zoom. I got a little bit of writing done on the story that I'm not sure where it's going, and I have a little more idea where it's headed. But mostly we hung out chatting about various subjects until 6:30ish.

At that point things ended, and I took the opportunity to have a snack. Then at a bit after 7 I Skyped the FWiB.

We talked til almost 9, with a break at 8:30 for me to call Middle Brother. He's fine, nothing new.

When we finally got off, I had dinner, then went to the bedroom to read til pet feeding time.

Then I fed the pets and started here. Just called the Kid, she didn't pick up.

Out of curiosity, what good books are you reading?

Well recently I have been reading Dorothy L Sayer's Lord Peter Wimsey mysteries. They are really good if you're into mystery, and/or the 1920s and 30s. I just finished reading the last novel she wrote in the series, there are three books of short stories to go, and four books written by Jill Paton Walsh to continue the series. I've read all the Sayer's original ones before, this is a reread. The first of the continuations I read once, the others will be new.

I'm not much of a mystery fan, but I will keep her in mind and maybe check out her books someday :-)
