silver_chipmunkI slept late again, after 12. Then I got up and had breakfast and coffee. Then I put in a Shipt order.
I puttered online until the order came, and then I put it away.
I tossed on clothes, again without showering, and started taking out the boxes from the kitchen that I moved in from the bedroom. Since I can only use one hand to carry, since I'm using the other hand for the cane, it took me three trips. After the first and second I walked around the block before coming back in, but after the third it started raining so I came back in without the walk. It only rained a little bit though, so I could have done the walk around the block. Oh well.
I did some throwing things out in the kitchen, rested for awhile, and then got the cart out and made sure it was in usable shape. I was worried because of the accidentmashfanficchick had with it when we were bringing stuff to be shredded, back in April. I haven't used the cart since then. But I am happy to say it worked fine.
At 5 I took the cart down to get my laundry, without using the cane. I walked carefully and held on to the cart and I don't think I put any stress on my foot. Anyway, I got my laundry and brought it back.
When I got here there was an ambulance in front of the building, and as I brought the stuff in, I saw the EMTs going upstairs, I think with a stretcher. I hope whoever they were here for is OK. There were no sirens when they left, so I don't know what happened.
Right after I got in, the door buzzed and it was my delivery of turtle food from Petco. So that's good. I put another bucket of water in the turtle tank at 6.
At 7 I Skyped the FWiB. We talked until 8, when it was time for D&D.
The session that I missed last week, it turns out the GM missed it to, so they rolled up new characters and another layer did a one-shot. So I missed that but nothing in the major game.
After the game, which ended on a cliff-hanger for next week, I fed the pets, and had dinner. Then I called the Kid to ask about dinner tomorrow, but she didn't answer. Grumble.
Then I started here, and here I am.
