Posting from Rochester

silver_chipmunkGot up this morning in time for my Al-anon meeting in Bowne Park. Had breakfast, and coffee, showered, dressed, and Ubered over.
The meeting was good. Of course I didn't go to the diner, but I did get a ride home.
I finished packing what had to wait til this morning, and I gave the pets their food, an extra bowl of food and an extra bowl of water for Oreo.
Chris arrived somewhat after 1. He came to the wrong street so I had to walk around the corner, but no big deal.
We drove first to his storage unit in Hudson, and left off the stuff he was bringing there. The we had McDonalds for lunch.
Then we made the long haul to Rochester. We stopped once for a bathroom and leg stretching break. Then, Chris lost track of his speed, and we got pulled over for going 90. But the trooper was nice and let us go on the speed and just gave him a ticket for not using his flashers when pulled over.
Anyway, we got to the hotel at a little after 9 and checked in. We have two Queen beds, Wifi, a fridge and microwave.
I got texted by the Kid to make sure I got in safely, and then I set up the computer an Skyped the FWiB.
Getting up tomorrow at 7.
Bed now.
