Visit to Lynn

silver_chipmunkChris got up this morning at 5:30 or so. I woke up but went back to sleep til my alarm went off at 7. I showered and dressed, and we left, stopping to get coffee at the free breakfast.
Lynn is holding up pretty well, considering. He did cry a couple of times, but then composed himself. He is mostly worried about what will happen to his husband after he's gone. All in all, we had a pretty good time, considering everything. Lynn made pancakes for breakfast, a quiche for lunch, and pasta for dinner. He likes feeding people, and this was a chance for him to do so before he starts chemo on the 30th.
He took us on a walk through the neighborhood, and that was nice. And he gave us books, he's trying to give away his book collection before the end. I got a bag, which I am looking forward to reading, including the start of the Mrs. Pollifax series which I have been meaning to read.
We saw a rabbit in their yard, and we met their cat, Jenny.
We stayed until around 8, and we will go back to say goodbye tomorrow morning.
We came back to the hotel and I called Middle Brother, who is fine, and then Skyped the FWiB.
I also textedmashfanficchick. They are heading back from Ohio tomorrow, driven by RK.
Now Chris is in his bed asleep and I have to finish up here and go to bed myself.
