So after getting to bed after 6 this morning I slept until 1, though at some point the mail arrived with two book packages for me, Who Fears the Devil, via eBay, and, what was supposed to be Sailing to Sarantium by Guy Gavriel Kay, and instead was it's sequel, Lord of Emperors. I brought the packages in (the postmain rang my doorbell) and went back to bed.

Anyway, around 1 I got up and had breakfast and coffee. I had put my Fitbit to charge at one point, but it didn't connect right and hadn't charged so I had to reconnect it and let it charge while I shpwered and got ready to go to the Mets game.

I dressed, and packed my backpack rather than bringing my purse and left at 3:30, about a half hour later than i hoped, but no big deal, since the game was at 5.

I took the 20 bus and the 7 train, and got to the stadium, then got a sweet Italian sausage with peppers and onions to eat, and made my way to our seats.

mashfanficchick arrived shortly therafter.

The game was fantastic, we took an early lead and never looked back, though the Dodgers crept up we kept moving ahead.

After the game we went to the Team Store, then took the 7 train to Flushing where we parted. I took the 25 home.

I got home around 9:30, and Skyped the FWiB, for the first time since Tuesday, so that was nice. The kid called while we were talking, she's on a vacation with friends and having a good time.

After we finished up, I fed the pets, and started here. A totally satisfying day.
