Hallelujah, the sink is fixed!

silver_chipmunkI got up at 9 in case someone came about the sink. No one did. I had breakfast and coffee, and at 12 I called again. I was forceful, and raised the specter of calling the city. He said someone would contact me.
At 2 I called the number for the management company but instead of pressing the number for maintenance I pressed the number for "other issues" and complained there to a voice mail.
I don't know which prompted it, but only a little later I got a text from the super. He asked me to send him pictures of the faucet and under the sink, and he told me what to do. Yes, that's right, he didn't come himself, he had me do it.
But I have a working sink. The release of frustration was amazing.
So anyway, aside from that I texted the Kid, she had some suggestions, and I did some spot cleaning of the floor in the kitchen before I knew no one would be coming in. It looks much better now. So that was my cleaning for the day.
At 4 took a shower and dressed, then puttered around til 5:15 when I left for my meeting. I had pizza for dinner.
The meeting was small but good. I got a ride to the bus stop after.
Came home and Skyped the FWiB, for a very brief time.
And now it's time for bed.
