Al-anon night

Got up fairly late, though before 12. Had breakfast and coffee.

Put in a Shipt order. While I was waiting for it I lay down and read some of The Old Gods Wake, the Silver John novel. The Kid called, I had called and not gotten an answer, but left her a text to call me.

While we were talking the Shipt order arrived so that was awkward. I got the Shipt order in and put it away. Then I did a little cleaning.

Finally at 4 I took a shower and got dressed. Finally at 5:15 I went into the Bronx for my Al-anon meeting. I had pizza for dinner first.

The meeting was good though a bit small. M brought donuts and I ate too many. L drove me to the bus stop afterward.

I came home and Skyped the FWiB. We talked for an hour and then I fed the pets and started here.

Tomorrow I am going to go to my Saturday Al-anon meeting by the bus instead of Uber. At least, I plan to if I get up in time.
