Grey icky rainy day

silver_chipmunkGot up at 9 actually, no hitting the snooze button, and had breakfast and coffee. Showered, dressed, and took the bus to my Al-anon meeting. Got there nicely on time. It was small, probably due to the weather. But good.
Afterward got a ride to the diner, had a grilled pepperjack cheese on rye with bacon, and an iced coffee. Had a good time talking, got a ride home with L.
The Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat was a tribute to Renee Morrison, who died a bit before Christmas, I think I said, but I missed that part of the chat alas. Got here in time for the last 10 or 15 minutes of the episode The Fix, and all of the episode Shootout, which were her two favorite episodes. Then I stayed chatting til we ended at about 6:30.
The Kid called while I was chatting and we had a nice conversation. She is taking me to the oncologist on January 8th and we will then go to Akiyama afterward for sushi.
At 7 the FWiB and I tried to Skype. There was a great deal of technical problems, but we finally got together around 7:30. We talked for about an hour and 20 minutes.
Then I textedmashfanficchick and got updated on zer mmother's situation, which is that she's in LIJ hospital, no news apparently.
I think I know what happened to my text chat, but I don't think I can do anything about it. Still tomorrow I may go back to Google Fi and try again to see what they can do.
Anyway, I ate the last of the fruit salad for dinner, along with the last two pfeffernusse from Christmas Eve, and a little cheese and crackers. Then I went to the bedroom and puttered on my phone til pet feeding time, and here I am.

6. Was sent the movie Gay Purree so I can watch it some time soon! I love that movie.
