Got to sleep til 8:15 this morning, so I feel better than yesterday. Got up, had breakfast and coffee, and showered, dressed, and met RK to go to the funeral/memorial service.

It was at

mashfanficchick's uncle's shul, in Tarrytown, but it wasn't as bad getting there as I feared. We got there an hour early so we went to a coffee shop first.

The service was very simple, zer uncle started it with a prayer, then he spoke,

mashfanficchick and Theo spoke, Josh spoke and John F spoke. I spoke, the Kid spoke, RK, Robyn and Danny L spoke. Then zer uncle closed it with the Mourners Kaddish.

And then we went to his house for shiva. The Kid and her boyfriend drove me. It was pretty relaxing actually.

There is no shiva on shabbas, which of course starts at sundown so before then we left, and a bunch of us, went to RK's place with

mashfanficchick and played played games for quite a few hours. We ordered
dinner and stayed til almost 10. It was an awful lot of fun, and it got zer laughing, which is good.

Then RK drove me and Robyn home. I got here and fed the pets and Skyped the FWiB, though we only spoke for a short time.

Then I started here.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB, saw his oncologist today, still in remission.
