No diner today

Got up and had breakfast and coffee, then showered and dressed and went to my Al-anon meeting by bus. It was a bit small but good. But S wasn't there and when the meeting was over no one wanted to go to the diner.

So I walked to the corner and ordered an Uber, but before I even got a driver on the way, L pulled over and asked if I wanted a ride. So I said yes, and cancelled the Uber.

She took me home and I went to the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. Today was a comparison between the I Spy episode I Bet a Dollar and the S&H episode The Game. The I Spy was interesting, but unsurprisingly we decided that S&H won. Then we chatted for several hours, finishing just a little after 7.

The FWiB wasn't ready to Skype so I ate something and checked the mail which hadn't come when I first got here.

At around 7:45 we started to Skype and talked for almost an hour and a half.

After we finished I had dinner, and went and lay down til pet feeding time.

And now here I am.

This is absolutely true. Though the cute kid was very cute.
