Creative Work Session

That was about the only thing I did today. I slept til just about 12, then got up, had breakfast and coffee, did my internet reading, and at 1:30 went to the Starsky and Hutch Creative Work session.

I didn't get any writing done, but I had fun chatting with the other people there. We ended around 6:30, and at 7 I Skyped the FWiB. That was fun as always.

We went until 8:30, when I called Middle Brother. He's fine, nothing new. He has started reminding me about his birthday which isn't until March. but I need to make some plans.

I had called and then texted the Kid, and she texted me back. She and her boyfriend had their second anniversary dinner today.

I called mashfanficchick and ze reminded me about the Mets blood drive on the 15th and I told zer about the People's March on the 18th. We'll see what happens.

Then I had dinner and went and lay down and played solitaire until pet feeding time.

And that is all I did today.

4. Day to relax.

I'm certain you've explained this somewhere that I've missed… Can you remind me what FWiB stands for?

Sure, no problem. FWiB is "Friend With Benefits". Of course now, he's still a very dear and beloved friend but since he's in Ohio and I'm in New York, no more "benefits". Basically, he's a very old friend from work, who I called when my husband left me, and he made a proposition. We had a mutually satisfying relationship (he's married but his wife knew and was OK with it, for various reasons) for several years, we met about once a month, until various things happened and they had to move to Ohio.

Thank you! I'd seen it written "FWB" so I was trying to figure out what the little "i" was for.

It sounds like a really positive relationship for you even if the "benefits" aren't really part of it any more.

I actually started writing FWiB (because it's pronounceable) before I'd seen FWB, so, same idea. He really is very important to me, as a friend now, a major part of my support system.
