I got up at around 11:00 after being awake since 10:00ish. I had breakfast and coffee, and showered and dressed.

Then I went in to Flushing, to Duane Reade to pick up my prescriptions. The escalator was working for a change! I got them filled, then picked up Easter candy to make a basket to send to Middle Brother. I have a basket already that I got from [personal profile] mashfanficchick, so that's OK. Now I have everything and I just have to box it and send it.

And as I considered that, I realized that I just took out all the boxes in the recycling yesterday except for two which were entirely the wrong shape. I took them out to the garbage place, but the maintenance guys had been efficient and already broken them down and bagged them. I walked around the block and considered.

Fortunately I have the box that the Agatha Christies that [personal profile] mashfanficchick gave me are in. I think that will work, or maybe the box my Girl Scout cookies are in. We'll see closer to Easter.

Anyway, after that I took out the garbage and walked around the block again, and I played solitaire, and I puttered online, and eventually it was 7:00 and I Skyped the FWiB.

We talked until 8:00 when I went to my D&D game. It was a good one, we battled lightning elementals. We played til almost 10:30 my time, and then I fed the pets and started making dinner.

I called [personal profile] mashfanficchick and we discussed plans for the weekend starting tomorrow.

And after I got off, I ate dinner, and then started here. And here I am.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Got my meds.

3. Got the stuff for Middle Brother.

4. My D&D group.

5. Heard from the Kid by text that she can pick me up after my meeting on Saturday and take me out for my birthday.

6. Lovely weather.
