The Christmas tree is down

Got up this morning at 10:00, and breakfasted and coffeed. Called mashfanficchick to ascertain that ze was coming over today. Ze was, so I did some quick work in the living room, including cleaning the litter pan, and then showered and dressed.

Puttered around til ze got here, and then we took down the Christmas tree, thank heavens. Nothing got broken, and all is safely put away for next Christmas.

I got a phone call from the hospice social worker, who wanted some information about Oldest Brother's life. I filled her in as best I could. They are going to start him with music therapy.

Then we took some garbage out, and then we gave up for the day and walked into Flushing and ate at a noodle house. It was very good.

mashfanficchick showed me a different way to get to zer apartment, just by bus, and we did that, and hung out for awhile. It was 8:30 and time to call Middle Brother, so I did. He went to a soccer game yesterday. Then we watched the current episode of Will Trent on Hulu.

After that I Ubered home and Skyped the FWiB. Or rather, Teamed him.

And now here I am.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Cousin Cliff replied that he will make an effort to get down here when the time comes, and do the service.

3. The Christmas tree is down and away.

4. Good TV.

5. John and Denise are here in New York, and are willing to pick Middle Brother up and bring him to see Oldest Brother one day.

6. The Kid texted today.
