Cleaning the tub

silver_chipmunkI got up and had breakfast and coffee. Didn't shower because the tub needed to be cleaned after RK and mashfanficchick cleaned the turtle tank on Thursday (because the rocks from the tank were washed off in the tub.)
Then I dressed and headed in to Flushing to get my prescriptions filled. I had to wait 20 minutes for them but no problem. I also got some cleaning supplies. Then I went to Starbucks and got an iced tea formashfanficchick.
Came back here and waited for zer. When ze got here we started cleaning the tub. We both worked on it, and it is now nice and clean. Not perfect but pretty good.
At that point I suggested going to the little coffee shop near here, that I went to with the cousins and once alone, before. It's called the Busy Bee. So we did that and had some snacks and lavender lattes.
WE stayed there til they closed at 6:00 and then started back to my place, but ze said it was such a nice day is was a pity to go inside and why not find seats in the park? I didn't know there were any, but we found some, and sat there until RK said he was on his way.
We left at 7:15 and met up with him, and came back here and started to straighten out the turtle tank. It did reuire pumping most of the water out (after removing the turtle and putting her safely in a box) and taking out the ricks again. But RK was able to move the tank back into position on the stand and it is OK now.
So after we finished that we went out to dinner at the Chinese noodle house. The Kid called, but I missed it so I called her back. She has plans for the time before Christmas now, with the boyfriend and his family. Five days inn a Mexican resort, I can't blame her for not turning that down! I will have to do something different for Middle Brother this year. But that's a problem for later.
I paid for dinner to thank everyone. Then we came back here and they packed up and left.
I lay down and charged my phone til pet feeding time, and here I am.
