silver_chipmunkGot up this morning at 9:15. Had breakfast, showered, dressed, and headed off to my Al-anon meeting where I was scheduled to be the speaker.
That went very well. Afterward I went to the diner, driven by S, and had a bacon, egg, and cheese on an English muffin, and iced coffee. S found out I was going tomashfanficchick in Forest Hills and she offered to drive me to Forest Hills. That was very nnice, though I'm not sure I actually saved any time as she was also giving G a ride home, but it was a nice ride chatting with them.
She dropped me at 71st and Continental so I took the E train from there two stops to where I would normally get off at the Union Tpk Kew Gardens stop.
Got tomashfanficchick's place and hung out with zer. Then t 7:00 I Teamed the FWiB from my phone.
At a bit before 8:00. Elissa picked us up and we drove to Texas Roadhouse where we had dinner. I had the portobello mushroom chicken. Then we went to Froendlys for dessert.
Then she drove me home. and here I am. Had a good day all told.
It was the day of the No Kings Rallies. The Kid went to one, I texted her to make sure she was OK. She said all was peaceful and she had a good time.
