Rainy Sunday

Just typed my whole entry and the computer deleted it when I hit the wrong combination of keys. I shall try to recreate it.

I got up at 10:00 and had breakfast and coffee, and showered and dressed. I wore one of the two Starsky and Hutch tee shirts Susan M sent me.

Then I called mashfanficchick and told zer I'd be over after I'd spent about an hour in the Starsky and Hutch Creative Work session. I also called the Kid who didn't answer again.

At 1:30 I went to the Creative Work session and showed Susan M what i was wearing and thanked her again. The Kid texted me right before I left, she is sick. I told her abot Middle Brother's CT scan and that I would keep her posted.

Then at 2:30 I dressed as best I could for the rain considering I don't have a raincoat and my umbrella broke last week. I did wear my rubber boots though.

My plan was to take the bus to Flushing and buy an umbrella in Duane Reade but when I got there I found that the corner store was selling umbrellas so I got one there for $12.

Then I discovered I'd forgotten that the train wasn't running between Main Street and Mets/Willets point so I had to take the shuttle bus. Ugh.

I finally got to Union Tpk and waited for mashfanficchick in Starbucks. I had a gingerbread chai. Very tasty,

Ze got there and worked on zer paperwork while I read Beyond the Sea. I had a snack of a falafel pocket.

When ze finished we went to dinner at the Japanese restaurant and had sushi. I also had a glass of plum wine.

After dinner I Ubered home. Got here just in time to call Middle Brother. He's fine, went shopping somewhere yesterday.

Then I Teamed the FWiB and we talked for a nice long time. Now it's time to go to bed.
