Got up at 10:00 and had breakfast and coffee. Showered and dressed.

At 1:00 I left for Flushing to meet

mashfanficchick for lunch. I went to the bank first, then went to meet zer at Duane Reade. But ze called and said that there were delays on the E train, and ze was going to switch to the bus instead. That meant I had a longer time to wait, so I went to wait in the Flushing Library, However it's closed for renovations, so instead I went to Hey Tea, the bubble tea place I went to awhile ago, to wait there.

My order took an awfully long time for some reason, though it was quite tasty. I was just finishing it when ze got there. We were going to go to the rice noodle place, but for some reason their A health department rating has been shifted to Rating Pending. So since we didn't know why they lost the A, we decided to go somewhere else.

We went to the food court of one of the shopping markets there, and got skewers of spicy stuff. I got two skewers of lamb and on of mushrooms. Delicious.

Then we did some quick shopping in the store, and then went to my place.

The first thing i did was put in a very quick Shipt order, because I needed creamer for my coffee tomorrow. Then we cleaned the cat pan. Ze emptied it and took out the litter, I opened the new litter and filled the pan.

Then we started on the Christmas stuff. We got the tree undecorated without any breakage, which always makes me happy. It took a long time, and was hot even though I opened the living room window as much as I dared (because of the cat) and turned on the fan. But it is done, and all the decorations in the apartment are down and everything is neatly packed away.

Then I got out the box for the tree itself, and while I had the box out and the TV moved, I got out the boxes of the ashes of my parents, which have been behind the TV under the Christmas tree box for years. I put them under the table the printer is on (Oldest Brother's ashes are on top of the printer). That's so I have easy access to them for taking them upstate to the cottage in July.

Then I got the Christmas tree in the box and behind the TV where it stays all year. And I have a more normal apartment now.

Then we took a break, to rest for a bit. And then we took care of the turtle tank. The water was low, and needed changing, so I used my nifty pump and we did that. I drained it and

mashfanficchick dumped the water and carried buckets of clean water to refill it.

Then it was too late to go to Busy Bee, but J's Confections, the sweet shop, is open til 8:00, so we went there. Ze had bubble tea, I had a mango milkshake. We stayed there til a bit after 7:00.

Then ze went home, and I went home too and Teamed the FWiB. At 8:00 I popped into Discord to see if anyone was there for D&D (the DM is away tonight and next week) but no one was, so we kept talking til about 8:30.

Then I caught up on my internet reading, and called the Kid who didn't answer and pointed out to me by text that we spoke last Thursday. *grumble*

Then it was pet feeding time and I fed the pets, and started here. All-in-all a very productive day.
