Lovely day off

Started out by paying my rent, which wasn't so lovely but is necessary. Then went to the framer's and got Dad's painting. Picked up my scrips from the drug store and then came back here. The Kid called, and we arranged that I would meet her and the SIL in Elmhurst to go to the Municipal Credit Union and get accounts so she can apply for a car loan. So we did that, so I now have an account with the MCU. And then we went to the Georgia Diner and got a late lunch/early dinner. So I had a lovely day.

Yesterday was nice too, except for work. But afterward I met up with mashfanficchick and her mother and went to Carvel and then Waldbaum's for some shopping.

The night before that was more exciting. They picked me up at work, and we were going to have dinner and then get Carvel but they had their tire eaten by a pothole. So we called roadside assistance and waited a long time, and ended up not having time for Carvel, but we did do dinner at the Georgia Diner. Yes, same place as today. So that was interesting.

And that's about all.
