Scary news

I learned this morning that the landlord died on Wednesday. I have no idea what's going to happen with the house now, if his family will take it over or if they'll sell it, and if they sell it if the new owners will keep on the tenants. So there's a lot of anxiety there. And I feel bad about the landlord too though I didn't know him very well. He was a nice guy.

But aside from that it was a pretty good day. I picked up Bjorn's cat food and then went to my meeting in the morning. That was good. Then I went to Rite Aid and got my scrips filled, and came home. Spent some time mooching around and plotzing on line, then called mashfanficchick and found she is feeling better. So in the evening I went over there and hung out for some hours. Had a good time.

Fallow day

Slept very late after last night. Didn't do much today though I did get a little housework done, which is a good thing. Also ordered "the lives and times of archy and mehitabel" from ebay. That was one of the books I lost in the move from the old apartment and I will be happy to get it back.

The kids got back safe from upstate and then went to Philadelphia for their anniversary.
