Back to work today
Aug. 31st, 2015 10:52 pmBlergh. I had to work 11 to 7 too. But it went OK.
Thanks to all for their lovely comments on my previous post. The latest news is his wife doesn't seem to want to take guardianship after all, she seems to want him to go to a friend who has said he can stay with him. I don't know what's best.
I did call him tonight and he answered though he wouldn't talk about it. Wouldn't talk long at all, but at least I knnow he's alive and conscious.
Aside from that, I picked up the keys for the new apartment today. Checked it out to make sure they work, which they do, and looked at the apartment again. Just about what I remembered.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB answered the phone.
2. Good books.
3. New keys.
4. New apartment.
5. Family.
6. Much shorter walk to the bus from the new apartment.
