Day of the wedding

The day started with a round of facebooking and texting with Lynn S, with the upshot that we're having brunch tomorrow. Looking forward to that.

Got up for the breakfast they serve here which was OK, though not as good as some I've had. Cameback to my room and went back to bed for an hour or so.

Got up, Skyped to the FWiB, and then settled down and read until it was time to get ready for the wedding.

After I got ready there was still extra time, so I read some more, and then at 4:00 I went down and started waiting for the bus to the venue. And who should walk in but Betsy and Pete. So they offered me a ride to the place, and I said yes, so we went over, and it was all very pleasant and nice.

The wedding was a nice little wedding, not a big fancy extravaganza by any means, but nice. They had to move it indoors because of the heat, so it was a bit cramped and plain, which is a pity. The food, buffet style, was good, the DJ was nice, and of course the company excellent. I danced a fair bit, which was fun. Got a ride back with Betsy and Pete, too. Everyone was happy I came, and a little surprised I think.

And that about says it all.
