Very late, hurrying

Got up in time for work by 9. The FWiB, by prearrangement, gave me a wakeup call at 8:00, which meant that I made sure I got up in time to talk to him. Then we had e-mail trouble, and I didn't hear from him for hours, which was annoying.

Work was OK, nothing special. After work, mashfanficchick called and asked if I wanted to come over and watch some of her new show addiction, 911. I said sure, even though they couldn't provide me with a ride home cause her mother's car has a flat.

Skyped the FWiB on the way over, and got bubble tea in Flushing, then picked up Starbucks for us when I got to her stop.

911 is pretty interesting, I like the ensemble. Watched 5 episodes, that's why I'm home so late. Got Tex-Mex food called in for dinner, which was delicious. I had the grilled shrimp enchiladas.

Came home, fed the creatures, called Oldest Brother, and now going to bed.

Nap day

Overslept a bit this morning, because of being up so late last night, but made it to therapy on tome none-the-less, though I had to ski[[ getting my usual coffee and donut before hand and get it afterward instead. I also went to Walgrens and bought hand soap and paper towels.

Then came home and napped. While I was just getting settled, mashfanficchick called and asked if I minded her going to the Mets Opening Day game on my birthday, when she would normally spend it with me. I said of course I don't mind, which is true. If it had been a regular game, I would have been hurt, but Opening Day? She always goes to Opening Day! After that I settled in and napped for a couple of hours, and felt much better.

The FWiB was out for the afternoon, which I forgot, or I might have postponed my nap and Skyped before he left, but there it is. So after I woke up I read more of False Value, which I am, not surprisongly, liking a great deal.

Then went out to my meeting, having dinner at Boston Market first. And then, while I was finishing dinner, the FWiB got back, so we Skyped until my meeting. I got hot chocolate at Dunkin' Donuts as usual to have somewhere to sit inside out of the cold and kill time while I waited.

Then the meeting, which was good as always, with a long gone member showing up again,which I had expected cause she texted me.

Came home, and finally got on the computer for the first time all day. Caught up in my reading, fed that cats and turtle, and am now waiting for Oldest Brother to call.
