One of those mornings

I barely managed to get out of bed today, hasn't been this bad in a long time. Was an hour and 45 minutes late to work. I almost called out sick, but it's a good thing I didn't because someone else did and there would only have been two people if I wasn't there.

So the day went quickly and not to much to say about it. And I did something that I should have done a long time ago... I ordered a new bookcase from IKEA. Yeah I know I shouldn't have been doing that from work, but at that particular time I had very little else to be doing. So they should be delivering it Friday. If it comes early I'll put it together that day, otherwise it can wait til Sunday. I got one of the Billy series of bookcases, in white because although I would have preferred a different color, for some reason the white was $20 cheaper than the other colors. Go figure.

After work I had to wait 24 minutes in the cold for the bus, which sucked but that's the transit system.

Got home and Skyped the FWiB, and we had a nice long conversation. After that I puttered on line, then had dinner. And after dinner I went to the bedroom to read more of False Value.

I had been reading awhile when the Kid called. So we had a long talk. I may be going over to her place tomorrow. Then I called Oldest Brother and we talked.

And that was the day.
