Day with the Kid

Suitably socially distanced, of course.

Got up at 10:00. Got breakfast, and coffee, then showered and moussed my hair. Got dressed and Skyped the FWiB for a half hour until it was time for me to leave for the Kid's place.

No problems getting there, though it started raining right after i got off the train in Astoria. He did indeed spend the day at least six feet apart from each other. But we had a nice time. Watched some Netflix things, Two episodes of Connected, and the whole show of a documentary on Luka Magnotta. We ordered Thai for dinner, and got a bottle of hard cider.

All in all it was a very nice day.

Quiet Day At Home

I slept late, and then got up and had coffee and breakfast. Puttered around on line for awhile and then Skyped the FWiB. I got a $5 gift card from the survey I took, and I put it on my Nook.

Then I put in a Shipt order and got that. The gallon of milk I ordered got dropped and the container must have cracked cause it was leaking pretty badly. I quickly drank up what was left in the old gallon, rinsed out the jug, and poured the new gallon into it.

I organized the pictures in the folder that I moved from my phone to the computer. Put them all in folders or named them.

The Kid called and we talked. I unpacked the box she gave me yesterday, and I found the missing ring. I put everything away.

I wrote two letters, one to Mandy and one to Dori. And I called mashfanficchick to get their addresses, and we talked for a bit.

I puttered on the computer for a bit, then went and made my dinner. Just as I was about to eat, the Kid called again. We talked for a bit, and then I went and read until it was time to call Oldest Brother.

Then while we were talking, the Kid called and we're talking now.
