I got a nasty review on one of my fics, presumably, due to the content of the review, because it's slash. The review was one word, misspelled... "Discusting". It was on fanfiction.net, my story Silence. I feel honored to have had this experience.
Anyway, aside from that, it was a productive day. I slept late, and then got up and breakfasted and coffeed. Puttered on line for awhile, and then motivated myself to get my laundry together and take it down.
After that I read for awhile and then really motivated myself and cleaned the turtle tank and filter. The turtle seems happier now. Lord knows the tank needed it.
After that I rested some more, then bagged some recycling. Didn't take it out yet though.
I Skyped the FWiB and we had a very nice time. I ordered dinner through Seamless, sushi, because nothing says "productive day" like raw fish on rice. While I was waiting for it to be delivered I read some more. I have finished the Becky Chambers book I was working on, The Galaxy and the Ground Within, and started the new Mercedes Lackey Valdemar book, Beyond.
The food was delivered and I started to eat, and then I got a phone call from Jonathan Rice. So I spoke to him for awhile, nothing much new. Then I finished eating, and waited till it was til to call Middle Brother. he's doing fine, they took him bowling, which was nice.
Want to the bedroom, and ate the remaining ice cream from yesterday, then read some more till it was time to call Oldest Brother for the third time. He's doing OK I guess.
Called the Kid, she's home, all her pets are OK. I had really been worried about Birb but she says he's fine.
It was after that that I got the review. Sort of a let down. Silence is one of my more popular stories and I was expecting something nice. Ah well. As I said, it's an experience.
Now I've fed the pets and will go to bed and read some more.
