Just quick

Got a last minute invitation from mashfanficchick and zer mother to join them for dinner, I had already eaten but had an appetizer and soup.

Aside from that I worked, and I came home and Skyped the fWiB, and then I picked up my laundry, and then I had dinner, and then I called Oldest Brother and then the Kid, and then mashfanficchick called me about tomorrow. And then ze called back about dinner.

So that was the day.

To the oncologist...

...and nothing. Because the test she ordered on the tumor wasn't back yet, so there was nothing for us to do except she told me the blood tests they took last time were all good.

Started out the day by sleeping late. Called Oldest Brother, and then went back to sleep. Got up at 11:30 and breakfasted, coffeed, showered and dressed. ,lj user="mashfanficchick"> and zer mother picked me up somewhat after 1:30 and we went to Wild Fog for lunch, and then they took me to the doctor's. Which went as I said.

So I called Oldest Brother again, and the Kid, but she didn't pick up. So we sat there discussing the primary candidates in the NYC primary today, and filling out practice ballots. While I was filling mine out, the Kid called back and I told her what was up. We discussed the primary ballot too, and when we finished, they drove me to Bay Terrace to the Spectrum store and I dropped off my old Spectrum equipment.

Then they drove me to my polling place and dropped me off, and I voted. Came home and read my work e-mail, which I normally get on my phone, but which is having a Synch problem right now so I can't. Not sure what I'm going to do about that, but anyway... found out that they have instituted a vaccination incentive program, so because I'm fully vaccinated I get two extra days paid leave. There's other incentives for getting people who aren't vaccinated to go. So I sent in my proof of vaccination and I'm waiting to hear back.

Then I Skyped the FWiB. Had a good time, and then had to get off to have my Al-anon meeting. That went very well.

After the meeting I didn't feel like dinner after such a big lunch so I just had some ice cream, and then went to the bedroom to call Oldest Brother again, and then the Kid. She didn't pick up again.

Then I just killed time till I fed the pets, and here I am.
