Unexpected outing

Went to work, and had my program which, as I expected, no one showed up for. I did manage to corner one kid and give home one of my giveaways, and I therefore counted him as having gone to the program. So that was one.

After work I came home and Skyped the FWiB. While we were talking, mashfanficchick called and asked if I wanted to join them to watch the Mets game at Uno. Of course. They were far enough away still that I was able to finish my conversation with the FWiB before they got here, so that was nice.

We went to Uno, and watched the Mets. They went from having a 5 - 0 lead for most of the game, to losing 7 - 9. Typical. The thing about being a Mets fan is that you just have to expect that they will tear out your heart and stomp on it.

Anyway, we stayed until the end of the game. I called Oldest Brother and the Kid.

Then they brought me home and here I am. There's some pretty spectacular thunder going on out there.
