Post infusion shot
Jul. 21st, 2021 10:10 pmThat was my medical today. I slept OK last night, not great but not too badly. No nausea.
I got up and breakfasted and coffeed, and puttered on line for several hours. Then I showered and dressed. The Kid was supposed to pick me up at 3:15. but due to some horrible traffic she was quite late, and I was late getting to my appointment at 4:00. However I called and told them I would be late and there was no problem.
It was just one shot in the arm, not the port. Didn't even need a band aid. She told me that I might feel pain in my bones from it, and if I did I could take Tylenol, but I haven't had any pain.
The Kid brought me home and I put in a Shipt order, and then puttered around the computer till it was time to Skype the FWiB. We had a good time, and then I had dinner.
Went to the bedroom and called Oldest Brother for the third time, he's doing ok. Then I called the Kid, she didn't pick up, so I played solitaire for awhile until it was time to feed the pets.
The Kid called back while I was typing this. She wants me to take short term disability and stay home for the time I'm in chemo because I'll be immunocompromised. I don't want to, but I promised I'd talk to my union. We'll see what they say about it.
