Had a change in plans for today

Last night at 12 midnight i got an e-mail from Fed Ex that they were delivering a package today between 8 am and 8 pm from the specialty pharmacy that does my cancer drugs. In other words, they were delivering my cancer drugs here instead of to the doctor, even though when i called them on Monday they confirmed they were going to the doctor. And so my plans for going to see Oldest Brother and give him the Fire tablet had to be cancelled because I had to be here to collect the package, to keep it from being stolen, and in case they needed to be refrigerated.

So I got up at 9 and went to the BBFT committee meeting at 10 until 12, and waited for the package. I called the doctors office and told them and they said to keep it and bring it in on Tuesday and call them and tell them I had it if it came in before 4.

It finally came some time after 4. Fortunately it didn't need to be refrigerated, so I have it and I'll bring it Tuesday.

Had a long text conversation with mashfanficchick.

At 5 I called Oldest Brother again, and then Skyped the FWiB. We had a really nice time talking.

After that I decided that my spoiled plans deserved some recompense, so I called sushi in for dinner through Seamless. I should have used Akiyama, but I didn't. The sushi was good enough, but they forgot my salad.

I called Middle Brother at 8:30, he's doing fine.

Then I fiddled around till 9, and called Oldest Brother again (I'm going over there Monday, now) and then called the Kid.

And now I've fed the pets, and am going to go read I think.

Edited to add: Just got an invitation from mashfanficchick to go and watch the perseid meteors tonight at midnight, so going to get ready for that now.
