Didn't see any meteors

It was fun, though, driving out to Jones Beach and lying on the car hood watching the clouds scud. But we were out until quite late, I got to bed at 3, so I slept very late today.

Got up and tried unsuccessfully to call Oldest Brother. I assumed that he was not in his room, and tried, unsuccessfully to call nursing. Then I gave up and decided to call at 5 when he would, I assumed, be back in his room.

Puttered online a bit, then Skyped the FWiB. Had a nice long chat, then got off to get ready for going to my meeting.

showered, dressed and called Oldest brother, and found out that he'd been in his room all day. Don't know why I couldn't reach him, hope another phone isn't going out of order.

But anyway, then I went to the Bronx, first to Boston Market for dinner, and then to my meeting. It was quite good.

Came home, called Oldest Brother again, and the kid, and now it's time to feed the pets and go to bed.
