I slept latish and then got up and had breakfast and coffee.
Skyped the FWiB, then puttered on the computer for awhile, and ended up in the bedroom scrolling facebook and playing solitaire. The Kid called, she has spun her first skein of yarn.
Finally motivated myself to take a shower and get dressed. I wore the new durag rather than my headwrap because it was so hot out and the durag is only one layer of cloth while the headwrap works out to four.
Anyway, I walked down to the drugstore in terrible heat and humidity, and got my meds. Also picked up a black head scarf to try out as well. Came home, called Oldest Brother, and collapsed for half an hour, then went out again, in the rain this time, to go to Boston Market and my meeting.
Ate at Boston Market, then walked to my meeting. It was small, just me and L., but good.
By then the rain had stopped, and it was just humid.
Came home, called Oldest Brother again, and then puttered on-line till it was time for feeding the pets.
And here I am.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. The rain stopped.
3. My meetings and the people at them.
4. Bed soon.
5. Air conditioning in this weather.
6. It will be cooler tomorrow.
Edited to add: I forgot to say. I lost a filling from a tooth today. Remember the one that I lost some years ago and the dentist put in a big filling and said if it didn't stay he'd have to take the tooth and put in a bridge? Well... Anyway, going to make a dentist appointment and see what they say.
