Back to work

But only for a day, because tomorrow is chemo and Wednesday I'm free.

So work was very quiet. NOthing much to say.

After work I rushed as much as I could to the Starbucks in Forest Hills to meet mashfanficchick and zer mother to watch 911. I made it by 7:15 amazingly enough, and then we got to zer place by 7:45, so we were on time. It was a lot of fun. We ordered thai for dinner, and after we ate we started watching 911: Lonestar, the spinoff. It's fun, though I think I like the original better.

After three episode they brought me home, and now I'm getting ready for bed after this.

Called Oldest Brother and the kid (actually she called me first, which was nice). All well.

Chemo Day

Since I was up so late last night, I slept as late as I dared this morning, 10:30. Called Oldest brothher from bed, got up and breakfasted, showered and dressed and got picked up by mashfanficchick's mother. mashfanficchick wasn't feeling well so wasn't there.

Went to chemo, had to do a call from there to get referrals to the oncologist. I think there should have been some left but they said not. Anyway it all worked out all eventually. I had chemo first, then saw the surgeon for a checkup. All is well and I go back in 3 months. Called Oldest Brother and texted the Kid. Facebook messaged with cousin Laurie.

Came home, stopping at Stop and Shop on the way for milk. Skyped the FWiB. After we got off I took a mini-nap, about 10 or 15 minutes, before I set up for the Al-anon meeting. The meeting was a bit disorganized but worked out well eventually.

Had dinner, then called oldest Brother for the third time. Then I called the Kid and we had a nice talk.

Fed the pets and started to write here, and that's about all. Bed soon, hope i can sleep.
