Day of many different things
Jul. 16th, 2022 10:06 pmI got up to go to my meeting in Bowne Park, but just after I got out of my shower I got an e-mail that because it was raining the meeting was rescheduled to Zoom. Since I was running a bit late anyway, that was OK with me, so I finished getting dressed and had breakfast and coffee.
The meeting was very good, almost everyone got the message in time, so it worked out. After the meeting ended, I was going to Skype the FWiB, but he had something to do first, so by the time we got on there was only about a half an hour before I got off to go to the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. I used some of the time before we Skyped to order an Al-anon book I don't have from the World Service office, because they are running at a deficit and have said that if every member would order a book from them that would fix it.

mashfanficchick called me and asked if I wanted to join them in some shopping, so I said yes, and ze said they were on their way. I chatted a few more minutes then went outside to wait.
We went to Starbucks, and I finally got a Starbucks card and the app, so I can earn rewards now. Then we went to Shop Rite and got food. I got a Cuban sandwich, and a diet Dr Pepper, neither of which I had had in a long time.
We went to T J Maxx, and I got something called a Gua Sha, which is supposed to help improve your facial tone, but which I got because it's a butterfly made of rose quartz. Very nice.
Then we went to BJs, though I didn't get anything there.
They brought me home then, and we made plans for tomorrow. Meanwhile, I had grown concerned that I hadn't heard from the FWiB. Turns out he was getting my e-mail but I wasn't getting his replies because they were going to my spam folder. This happened once before, I think I wrote about it. He called me and we figured out what was going on, so we Skyped for another half hour.
Now I'm using my gmail address to keep in touch, and hopefully the problem will resolve itself like it did last time.
Called Oldest Brother for the third time, and called the Kid but she didn't pick up.
Then I fed the pets, and here I am.
