Shopping

So I slept late, then got up and breakfasted and coffeed. Called mashfanficchick about plans for the day. Ze said ze would call back later.

I Skyped the FWiB . We had a nice long conversation, and then I called mashfanficchick back and ze said they'd pick me up in an hour.

So I went and showered and dressed, and then read the Player's Handbook. I'm getting a sense of how different D&D now is from when we played in college and after. More adjustments to basic score, more modifiers. They've changed Drow from pitch black to various shades of grey, which makes much more sense, and there's more races for player characters. That's as far as I've gotten.

Then mashfanficchick and zer mother picked me up and we went to Rote Aid to pick up my prescriptions, and get my statin filled. Then we went to carvel, because they were having a special, I think for National Ice Cream Day(?). So we got Carvel, and I got some for later (it was BOGO) and we brought it back to my place to put in the freezer.

mashfanficchick was looking for denim shorts. So first we went to Old Navy, no luck. Then we went to Target, no luck. Finally we went to the Queens Center mall and went to Penny's, where ze found what ze was looking for. I got a pretty tee shirt that was on sale too. I used my Penny's credit card for the first time in many ages.

Then we did some food shopping. I got some single serving packs of guacamole. While we were there it was time to call Middle Brother, so I did. He's fine, nothing special going on.

We also got food for dinner. I got poke. Delicious. And called Oldest Brother for the third time, and called the Kid too. Sje answered this time, didn't last night. All is well.

Then they brought me home, and I fed the pets, and started writing here.

So that was my day.
